2008 ... March 20th, 21, 22 and 23rd • Palm Springs, CA.
The Southern California Chapter will again be having a multi day car tour and BBQ. The group will be invitees to a few personal car collections and also a few surprises. Saturday afternoon we will be having the BBQ at Frank Wenzels' home. The group will staying at the Travel Lodge, 333 E Palm Canyon Dr. Palm Springs, CA 92264...1-760-327-1211. 2008 ... April 9 10 11 12 and 13th • ASC Southwest Zone Meet • Bakersfield, CA.
The Antique Studebaker Club along with The Southern California Chapter will be holding its’ annual Southwest Zone Meet in Bakersfield, California. This is it will be hosted by the So Cal Chapter. As in the past, this is a very unique activity as it is being held in conjunction with the Horseless Carriage Club and Kern County Model T Club. The first change will be that the first tour is Thursday morning and it LEAVES Beach Park at 8:30 am sharp! Send me a email and I will send you an email with the flyer.
Many of us will be arriving on Wednesday, so we will be ready as this is a great tour ( something from 80 to 100 miles). We will stop and have lunch at around noon. On Friday, our group will attend the swap meet after breakfast. We have reserved some spaces, for both days, inside the Swap Meet area for parking our antique cars (pre-wars only). Saturday morning our group will have it’s own short tour and it will end at the Swap Meet in time for the lunch and Banquet. Sunday morning we’ll have breakfast and time for goodbyes.
You will need to send your money to the address on the flyer.
NOTE: It has to be paid prior to April 1,2008.
The ASC Meet Hotel will be at the Travel Lodge, 1011 OAK STREET, BAKERSFIELD, CA 93304 or Phone: (661) 325-0772. They have an adequate sized parking lot to hold our cars and trailers. Make sure you mention the "Studebaker Group". Remember to get your rooms early as many have already been reserved and they are going fast.

2008, May (DATE TO FOLLOW) • La Palma Park - Orange Empire Chapter annual Car Show and Swap Meet. This is a yearly car Show for the Orange Empire Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club. It is held in Anaheim at the La Palma Park. It is located on the corners of Harbor Blvd. and La Palma Ave. Each year the ASC Club and The Southern California Chapter attend this easy going day in the shade. Bring out your antique Studebaker cars and join in on the fun!
